A few days ago, Poly Pharm contributed the quality specifications of the API gadoterate meglumine to The United States Pharmacopeial Convention (USP). Dr. Guoshan Cen, General Manager of USP China, paid a visit to Poly Pharm with his team and awarded the enterprise a certificate of appreciation as well as a trophy.
01 The United States Pharmacopeial Convention
The United States Pharmacopeial Convention (USP) is an independent, science-based, and not-for-profit organization that establishes standards for medicines, food ingredients, and dietary supplements that are produced, distributed, and used around the world. USP’s monographs on drug products are enforced by the FDA in the United States.
Poly Pharm’s contribution not only fills the gap of USP in the related field, but also highlights the growing influence and voice of Chinese enterprises in international standard-setting.
